Scotch whiskey.—Six samples were similarly tested and found to be
genuine.
Malt Vinegar.—12 samples were tested, six of which were sold with a
declaration to the effect that they were "Wood Vinegar," while six were found to
be genuine.
Olive Oil.—Of the eight samples tested, seven were genuine, and one was
sold with a declaration to the effect that it was " Nut Oil."
Cocoas.—12 samples were tested and found to be genuine.
For purposes of comparison I insert the following Table. showing the results
of the test work since its conception in 1908 :—
