ISOLATION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
The proportion of cases isolated during the year was larger than at any
time in the history of the Borough, for 1.866 cases out of the '2,171 notified
under the Public Health (London) Act, 1891, were isolated in hospital, or
85.9 per cent. of all the cases.
The following statement gives the percentages for each year from 1896, from which it will be seen that the percentage has gradually increased from 48.4 in 1896, to 77.1 in 1906, and to 84.1 in 1912.
