Public Health Department,
Municipal Offices,
Tyndale Place, N. 1.
To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the
Metropolitan Borough of Islington.
I have the honour to submit the Annual Report on the Health and Sanitary
Conditions of the Borough for the year 1922.
Included are the statistical tables as prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
Since the draft Report was submitted to the Public Health Committee in May,
further Census information has become available, and opportunity has been taken to
add to the Report information regarding workplaces, and the daily inward and outward
movement of workers, as Islington is becoming each year more and more an outlet for
the congestion of the City.
Much progress was made during the year in reorganising the work of Health
Visitation and co-relating this work with that of the Voluntary Infant Welfare
Centres.
I am,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
G Clark Frotter
Medical Officer of Health.
