From these figures it is seen that even among its neighbours, all of
which have smaller populations than Islington, the death rate of the
Parish stood in a very favourable position, although its density of
population is the greatest.

In the following table the deaths for the third quarter are given, together with those for the corresponding quarter of 1894. In the third column the increase or decrease on the corresponding quarter of the preceding year are shown.
