PERSONAL HEALTH SERVICES

LOCAL AUTHORITY HEALTH SERVICES
The City Council submitted to the Ministry of Health in 1965 long-term plans for the development
of the local authority health services in respect of the 10 year period 1966-1975. The approved

health, maternal and child welfare, day nursery and environmental health.
The "10 Year Plan" is under continual review and naturally depends on the exigencies of the
City Council's budgetary priorities and the current economic situation.
