Factories Act, 1937
Section 54—Basement Bakehouses
Certificates of Suitability in respect of six basement bakehouses were
renewed during the year. This was on the occasion of the quinquennial
review. All were inspected and found to be suitable for use as regards
construction, height, light, ventilation, and other hygienic aspects.
Two other premises which had previously been used as basement bakehouses,
were formally removed from the Register. One had been
demolished, and the other vacated and baking discontinued.
