The additional daily recording plants, one at Bessborough Street
Maternity and Child Welfare Centre, and another at the City Council's
Farm Street Depot, set up in September, 1954, for a specified period at
the request of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research,
were discontinued in October, 1955.
