Noise Nuisance.

Most of the complaints arose from apparatus used in road works or
demolition of buildings, nuisances temporary in character. In no case
was a statutory abatement necessary.
Atmospheric Pollution.
Investigation of atmospheric pollution in the City was continued
throughout the year at the Pimlico and Mayfair Stations, and an
additional deposit gauge was installed in the Charing Cross district at
Alhambra House.
The following tables give the results of the monthly analysis ot the impurities collected in the deposit gauges.
