Registration of Premises used in Connection with the
Manufacture, Sale or Storage of Ice Cream.
On the 1st January, 1951, 173 premises were registered for the sale
and storage of ice cream. During the course of the year applications
were received in respect of 19 further premises, and these were duly
registered, making a total of 192 registered premises. By reason of
4 removals during the year, the total number now registered is 188.
At the commencement of the year 12 premises were on the Register
for the manufacture of ice cream. During the year three firms discontinued
to manufacture, leaving 9 premises now used for this purpose.
