Water.
Water for drinking and commercial purposes is supplied by the
Metropolitan Water Board and has proved throughout the year to be
satisfactory in quality and quantity. Four complaints of contaminated
drinking water were received, all of which were traced to dirty storage
cisterns. In two cases, the water service system has been modified to a
mains supply, and in the other two cases the tanks have been cleansed
and their lids refitted.
