An ante-natal and post-natal clinic was started in October, two clinics being held

these facilities are more widely known, it is hoped that many mothers will take
advantage of consulting Dr. Salmond, the Medical Officer of this clinic.
Cookery Lectures and Demonstrations have been held at the centre. The food
was purchased in the district and the lecturer showed how to prepare, cook and
serve a good mid-day meal with best food values for a family.
The training of students has continued. Five English, one Canadian, one Pole,
and one French woman have attended during the year, in order to gain experience
in practical work.

One hundred and twenty-seven families have been transferred out of this district
