Adulterated Samples other than Milk.
Minced Meat.—Two samples of minced meat were purchased. One
of these was found to contain 137 parts of sulphur dioxide per million.
The vendor was cautioned.
Tomato Puree.—An informal sample of Tomato Puree was found on
analysis to contain 31/3 grains of tin per pound. The sample was part of
a quantity of this product exposed for sale and the remainder of the stock
