In order to give a comparative indication of the incidence of overcrowding
in the County of London, the following table, which gives the extent
of overcrowding in each Metropolitan Borough in relation to overcrowding
in London as a whole, has been prepared by the London County Council.

The table gives the proportion which the "equivalent number" of persons living in overcrowded conditions bears to the estimated total "equivalent population" in each borough.
