Social Conditions.
Westminster ia a City of shops, offices, hotels and restaurants, and
its workpeople find employment in those main industries as well as in
tailoring and other allied trades.
Unemployment.
The unemployment figures show some improvement over those of
1933, and I am indebted to the Manager of the local Ministry of Labour
Employment Exchange for the figures set out in the following table:—
