call qualified medical assistance to all cases of inflammation of the eyes.
If the medical practitioner considers the case one of ophthalmia neonatorum,
he must notify to the Medical Officer of Health.

Cancer.—The following table shows an analysis of deaths from this
cause during 1932. 69 per cent, of the deaths occurred in persons usually
resident in houses occupied by the working classes.
