1,654 deaths were registered in the City during 1932. After
deducting 943 deaths of non.citizens in public institutions, etc., in
the City, and adding those of 846 citizens who died in other districts,
the corrected total is 1,557, as compared with 1,740 in 1931, and is
equivalent to an annual rate of 12.3 per 1,000 persons compared
with 13'9 last year.
The London death.rate for 1932 was 12.3 and for England and
Wales, 12.0.
