In this table all primary notifications are included, and also other
new cases of tuberculosis coming to the knowledge of the Medical Officer
of Health during the year.
The total cases for 1931 show a total increase of 8 on those of 1930.
There was an increase of 5 males and 17 females among the pulmonary
cases. Non-pulmonary showed a decrease of 4 males and 10 females.
There was also a slight increase in the number of non-notified deaths.
Out of the total cases primarily notified in 1931, 36 died, and the
following table shows the period between notification and death of
these cases:—
