Diarrhoea and Enteritis.—Deaths from this cause were slightly higher
than in 1927. The total deaths were 18—11 males and 7 females—14
being under 1 year old. The infant death-rate from this cause in
Westminster was 10-2.

Whooping Cough.— 70 cases were notified during the year with
3 deaths—all being under 1 year. This is a decrease on the figures of
1927, when 128 cases, with 7 deaths, were recorded. 15 cases were
moved to hospital.
