Of the 204 cases removed from the Register during the year 1926,
106 were on account of death, 90 persons suffering from Tuberculosis
moved from the City, and the diagnosis was revised in 2 cases. Of
the 106 deaths mentioned above, 4 died from causes other than
Tuberculosis.
Deaths from Tuberculosis.—The total number of deaths from Tuberculosis
for 1926 (all forms) was 133—Males 83, Females 50. This gives a
death-rate for this disease of .96 per 1,000. The following table shows
the number of deaths from Tuberculosis for the last 5 years, together
with the death rate.
