A. STATISTICS.
Population.
The population of Westminster as estimated to the middle of the
year 1914, is 152,346, made up according to the proportion found at the
last census of 69,821 males and 82,525 females. This proportion was
probably altered in the latter half of the year by the withdrawal of
men to serve in the Army and by the importation of refugees from
Belgium.
