The Council has taken action under the new Housing and Town
Planning Act in regard to a number of houses in St. John's Ward, and
underground dwellings in various parts, and has also had special reports
on several streets in Westminster.
I desire to express my appreciation of the able assistance I have
received from all the staff in the work of the Department.
