It will be noticed that the corrected total of deaths is
95 higher than it was in 1885, and that the corrected
death-rate is one per thousand higher than it was in
that year, with which it can be fairly compared, as the
calculations were made in the same way in the two
years, the actual number of Parishioners dying in Public
Institutions in the Metropolis having been used last year
