to resort to the method hitherto adopted, viz., that of assigning
to the Parish a share of the deaths occurring in
Public Institutions throughout London, proportional to the
population of the Parish.
This plan is of course more accurate than the old one,
and may make a considerable difference in the corrected
death-rate, as indeed was the case during the year under
review.
