The gross total of deaths registered in the Parish during
the 52 weeks ending Saturday, December 29th, was 1,845,
being 9 under the annual average for the preceding 10 years.
Of this gross total of 1,845 deaths, as many as 829, the
highest number yet recorded, occurred in Public Institutions
in the Parish, while our share of the deaths occurring in all
