ANNUAL REPORT.
The Report of the Surveyor on the Works of Road
Maintenance, Paving, Lighting, Cleansing, Watering,
Improvement, and Sewerage, is submitted herewith, as also
the Report of the Medical Officer of Health on the Sanitary
condition of the Parish; together with an Abstract of the
Accounts of the Vestry, which were allowed and signed by
the Auditors in May last; and the Financial Statements
furnished by the Board of Guardians of St. George's Union,
and the Abstracts of the Vestry Poor Rate Account, for the
two Half-years ended Lady-day 1882.
During the year there have been 25 Special and
Ordinary Meetings of the Vestry. The average attendance
at these Meetings has been 54 Members. There have also
been 105 Meetings of Committees of Vestry. A return of
the attendances of Members at both Vestry and Committee
Meetings, between 1st June, 1881, and 17th May, 1882, is
printed in Appendix No. 1.
A list of the Members of the Vestry for 1882 is printed
in Appendix No. 2; and a list of the elected Guardians of
St. George's Union for the same year, in Appendix No. 3.

The following rates were made by the Vestry on the 31st March, 1881.
