annum. A portion of premises rented by the Guardians of
St. George's Union, under order of Poor Law Board, dated
14th August, 1871, at £200 per annum.
Basement Hall, South-street Schools, annual tenancy,
£50 per annum—Resolution of Managers of Schools passed,
recording that they would have been willing to accept the
Vestry as tenants of the hall for the term of 7, 14, or 21 years,
terminable at the option of the Vestry, at the rent agreed upon
had it been legally in their power to do so.
Burial Ground at the back of Mount-street Workhouse.
(Freehold, partially closed against burials in 1826, wholly
closed, by Order in Council, in 1854.)
Wharf and Buildings at Ebury-bridge, including Three
Small Houses in Commercial-road, held on Lease, at an
annual rent of £400. Lease expires at Lady-day 1924. One
Cottage let off at £25 per annum.
Two Wharves and Buildings in the Commercial-road,
adjoining the above, held on leases at an annual rent of
£155 16s. Leases expire at Lady-day 1934. Purchased by
Vestry, September 1881, for £10,500.
Burial Ground, Bayswater-road (closed against burials,
by Order in Council, in 1854), and Chapel attached. Annual
payments in connection with the same, £15 rent and £2 in lieu
of rates, under the Act of Parliament, 3rd Geo. III., cap. 50.
Fourteen Freehold Houses in Hyde-park-place, Bayswaterroad,
in front of the Burial Ground, twelve of them let on
Leases for 21 years, expiring at Michaelmas 1886; one let on
Lease for 30 years, expiring in 1900, the Vestry having the
option to determine the Lease in 1886 upon payment of
£400, and the other let on lease for 30 years, expiring in
1900. Total annual rent as now let £2,135.
Strip of Land about 4 feet wide, attached to No. 1, Hyde
Park-terrace, immediately west of No. 33, Hyde Park-place,
let to Messrs. Thrupp, on Lease for 41 years, from Lady-day
1881, at a rental of £10 per annum.
New Cemetery at Uxbridge-road, Hanwell, about 19 acres
1 rod 4 poles. (Freehold.)
Public Baths and Wash-houses in Davies-street, held on
Lease, which expires at Lady-Day 1904. Annual rent payable
for the same, £200.
Public Baths and Wash-houses in Buckingham-palace-road,
held on Leases, which expire at Lady day 1886. Annual rent
payable for the same £304 5s. These premises include two
small Houses, which are let off by the Commissioners at an
annual rent of £105.
