The slaughter.houses and cow.sheds are regularly
inspected and kept in a satisfactory condition; various
alterations were required in the cow.sheds to make them
comply with the requirements of the new Bye.Laws issued
by the Metropolitan Board of Works, who now inspect
them as well as the slaughter.houses. No application for
a License was opposed by the Vestry or by the Metropolitan
Board of Works, and they were all granted; those for the
cow.sheds being withheld until the required alterations
were carried out.
