the Metropolitan Board of Works upon each application is
submitted in Appendix No. 10.
Fifty-nine applications for permission to build or alter
vaults, areas, dung pits, and for other works, abutting upon
or under the public way, have been considered by the
Yestry. A list of the various applications, with the decision
of the Vestry, is printed in Appendix No. 11.
Alterations in Names of Streets, and Renumbering
of Houses.
Orders of the Metropolitan Board of Works were
received during the year, making alterations as under:—
Stanley Street, Pimlico, renamed Alderley Street.
Upper Eccleston Street renamed Belgrave Place.
Arabella Row incorporated with Lower Grosvenor Place,
houses renumbered.
Cottage Road—houses renumbered.
Shepherd's Court, Upper Brook Street, renamed Shepherd's
Place, and houses renumbered.
