As I have before remarked, it is not the average quality
which is of importance, but the inferior water which is
occasionally supplied.
I also analyzed a sample of water from an underground
tank, and one from a butt in a cellar, both supplied by the
Grand Junction Company, but did not consider it necessary
to take any steps beyond having the butt cleansed.
