SURVEYOR'S REPORT.
My Lords and Gentlemen,
I beg to submit this my Fifth Annual Report of the
various Works which have been carried out during the
year ended Lady-day 1879; also a Statement showing the
actual cost incurred in each department.
Maintenance of Roads.
The following thoroughfares have been converted from
flint roads to granite roads:—
Belgrave Square (north side).
Denbigh Street (from Belgrave Road to Lupus Street).
Lupus Street (from Sussex Street to Westmoreland Street).
Westmoreland Street (from Lupus Street to GrosvenorRoad).
The following statement shows the quantity of material
used in the maintenance and repairs of the various roads
in the Parish, and the total amount expended, including
labour:—
