A new lodge has been erected in this Parish, in Hyde
Park, near to the Magazine Barracks, and, in reply to
enquiry, the Vestry have been informed from H.M. Treasury
that the question of assessing this lodge will be taken
into consideration at the next revision of the basis of the
Government contributions.
A Summary showing the amount of the Rates assessed,
and the state of the Collection at the close of the same in
April 1879, is printed in Appendix No. 4.
Out of the General Management Rate, the Vestry have
paid the sum of £32,332 4s. 3d., required by precept of the
School Board for London, for the year ended at Lady-day
1879.
