Lighting.
The streets under the control of the Vestry have been
lighted by gas supplied by the Gas Light and Coke Company
(which now represents the Chartered, the Equitable,
and the Western Gas Companies) and the London Gas
Company.
The following Table will exhibit the number of lights in each district,—the cost, quality, and quantity of gas consumed per burner:—
