officers might proceed to exercise the power he was entitled
to give them, and suggested that the police should
be in attendance to prevent any breach of the peace
being committed.
Before an application was made to the magistrate, a
notice had been served for whitewashing and cleansing the
rooms, for lime-washing the yard, area, and water closet,
trapping two sinks, covering the dust pit, and cleansing
the drains forthwith.
