An examination of the first Table will clearly show this. The variation of the death rate
from the highest to the lowest in these years was 363.

The second Table gives the deaths for each week in each of the three Sub-districts,
with the mean temperature for each week. In one week, the 45th, there were registered
10 deaths, in another, the 29th, there were registered 32 deaths. The temperature of the
week does not point out the influence of the weather upon that week's death rate, inasmuch
as a coll season would not increase the death rate until some time after, when
perhaps the temperature might have risen.
