These proceedings were taken under the Food Hygiene (General) Regulations
1960 which were revoked as from 1st March 1971.
FOOD HYGIENE (MARKETS, STALLS AND DELIVERY VEHICLES)
REGULATIONS, 1966
All street markets in the Borough are regularly inspected by the Public Health
Inspectors and 661 such inspections were made during the year, in the main at the
weekend. In addition 147 inspections were made on street traders' food stores.
Three certificates of exemption from certain requirements of the Regulations
were granted to street traders.
