Milk distributors and sampling
There are 427 milk sellers in the Borough. Licences to expire on 31st December
1970, were issued as follows:
For sale of untreated milk 34
For sale of pasteurised milk 308
For sale of sterilised milk 313
For sale of ultra heat treated milk 84

Samples of milk for chemical and bacteriological examination were obtained from milk distributors in the Borough and also from schools and day nurseries with the following results:

Ice cream

Fifty-six samples of ice cream were examined with the following results:
