practitioners and post graduate workers there have been economists, architects,
town planners and officers of the health departments of other boroughs. This may be
due to the increased interest in the production of "Health Centres" all over the
country.
Meetings
There have been regular meetings of the House Committee. At the conclusion
of these, interesting talks on the work of their departments have been given by senior
officers of the Health Department. Luncheons have been held for the general practitioners
at which tape recordings and films of interest to them have been produced,
and also meetings of various local Medical Societies.
II—Medical
Well Women Clinics
The total attendances have been 604. This compares with the figure of 635 for
the first year. Now that the facilities of this Clinic have been extended geographically
and the general practitioners allowed to take their own cervical smears, it is clear
that the numbers will increase.
