HOME ACCIDENTS
Information regarding home accidents is available from the London
County Council giving figures reported by the London Ambulance Service
according to cause and age, cause and Divisional area, and the total
numbers in each borough.
In regard to cause and age, estimates have been prepared of those
occurring in Southwark during 1962 which are set out in Table 1 under
the various causes. Similarly in Table 2, estimates have been made of
the numbers of accidents occurring in Southwark in 1962 in the various
age groups and the percentage contribution made by each age group to the
total accidents. It is emphasised that these figures can only be estimates.
