Fourteen cautionary letters were sent in respect of other nongenuine
samples and other articles of food complained of hy the Public.
PHARMACY & POISONS ACT, 1933
During the year 108 inspections were made of the various premises
listed by the Council for the sale of Part II Poisons under the above
Act.
There are 61 names of persons on the Council's list of Sellers of
Part II Poisons.
NATIONAL ASSISTANCE ACT
Compulsory Removals.
No action was taken under the National Assistance Acts, for the
compulsory removal of aged persons in need of care and attention.
Burial of the Dead.
During the year the Council arranged for fourteen burials under
Section 50 of the National Assistance Act, 1948, at a total cost of
£150.12s.6d.
