ICE-CREAM
There are 259 ice-cream dealers and 12 manufacturers in this
3orough, an increase of 11 dealers, since last year. Most of the
dealers sell pre-packed ice-cream, obtained from the large
manufacturers.
50 samples of ice-cream were taken with the following results:—
26 samples, Grade I.
10 samples, Grade II.
7 samples, Grade III.
7 samples. Grade IV.
In addition :
28 samples were chemically examined for compliance with the
prescribed standards of composition, and all were found to be
satisfactory.
