REHOUSING
There was a general decrease in the total number of applicants
seeking the assistance of the Public Health Department for rehousing.
New cases of overcrowding were slightly fewer than in 1953, but
the total of these cases remaining on the register at the end of 1954
still remains almost the same as at the end of the previous year.
