THE INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD
During the year, 2,932 tons, 14 cwts., 9 lbs. of food were
examined in detail at wharves, warehouses, shops, etc., in the
Borough.
Of this amount, 213 tons, 16 cwts, 3 qtrs., 5 lbs. were found to be unfit for human consumption, and were disposed of as follows:—
