SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACTS.
During the year ending 29th December, 1917, 1,632 "official"
samples were taken by the Inspector.
The following Table shows the localities in which these samples
were taken:—

100 of these samples were certified as adulterated, a percentage
of 61; a similar percentage to the previous year's.
Particulars of the samples taken together with the results of the
analyses are given in table 69.
