WHOOPING COUGH.
This disease for some years, as will be seen by the accompanying
table has averaged 58 deaths in the year. No serious rise has occurred
since 1907. The course of the complaint is a protracted one, and is
very little influenced by Public Health measures.
The deaths from this disease were 46 for the year.
The annual death-rate per 1,000 living was 0.25.
