	Defects.—The house structure is worn out, there is no damp course in the walls and the walls are damp, the woodwork of the house, such as the floors, windows, doors, partitions and stairs, is old, worn out and dilapidated. The internal arrangement of the rooms of the house is bad, and the staircase is narrow, the closet accommodation is bad, the roof is defective, the back yard is small and the through ventilation of the house is bad.

	Detects.—It is a back to back house, the front wall is worn out, bulging and it is tied with iron ties, there is no damp proof course in the walls and the rooms are damp, the woodwork of the house is worn out, the floor is below the ground level, the staircase is narrow, dark and dangerous and it opens directly into the ground floor room, the roof is defective, the water closets are combined and are situated in a common yard in front of the house, the rooms (two in number) are small, and the houses are approached by a narrow covered passage.												/ /	/ /
