Verminous Persons Cleansed during 1909.
2435 persons were cleansed during the year at the Bathing Station,
as against 1641 persons during 1908. Of this number, 111 were persons
(adults) applying under the provisions of the Cleansing of Persons Act,
1897.
The officials of the London County Council (Education) caused 2305
children to be sent from the various schools to the Bathing Station for
treatment, as against 1602 children during 1908. The following table
shows the schools from which the children came.
