VACCINATION.
The percentage of infants vaccinated whose births were registered
during 1909 was 60.
The number of exemptions applied for during 1909 was 400, and the
number accepted as valid 337, as against 300 applied for in 1908, and
accepted as valid 262.
DEATHS of INFANTS UNDER ONE YEAR OF AGE.
The deaths of Infants under one year of age to 1,000 births were 119
during the year 1909.
The deaths under one year of age to 1,000 births for the last 17 years were as follows:
