The nine summonses shown in the above table were taken out
against the City of London Electric Lighting Company in respect to
nuisances occurring on the 9th, 14th and 15th September. These summonses
were dismissed by the magistrate (Mr. Baggallay) who held
that service of the statutory notices had not been proved on behalf of
the Council.
