Deaths from diarrhæa during the last ten years:

In every case of death from diarrhæa the house was examined, and
the history of the case in regard to the feeding of the infant (when such
deaths occurred in infants) was reported upon, together with the cleanliness
of the home and the habits of the parents.
Directions will be again issued this summer to prevent as far as
possible infantile diarrhæa.
TYPHUS FEVER.
No death has occurred from this disease during the year, and no
case was notified.
MEASLES.
The deaths from Measles during the year numbered 154, as against
191, 83, 164 and 161 for the four preceding years.
The Wards chiefly affected were those of All Saints, St. Peter, St. John and St. Michael.
The death-rate per 1,000 living was 0.74.

WHOOPING COUGH.
The deaths from this disease were 80, as against 118, 68, 114 and 98
in the four preceding years.
The Wards of St. George, St. John and St. Michael, in the orde
named, were those most affected.
The annual death-rate per 1,000 living was 0.38.
