The following work of supervision has been carried
out during the year by Mr. Weatheritt—
MILKSELLERS.
During 1905, 89 persons were registered as Milksellers in the
Borough. 32 persons were removed from the register during the same
period, having ceased to sell milk, the number of milksellers actually on
the Register at the end of the year was 436 as against 379 for 1904.
538 inspections were made of the various Milkshops during the year.
The following defects were discovered by the Inspector at his visits, with
the exception of these, the premises were found to be in a satisfactory
condition.

77 Inspections of the slaughterhouses have been made during the
year. Upon these occasions the several premises were found to be in a
good sanitary condition, the only exceptions being the following.
